I am confused again! I placed a red one in the first spot searching for my opponent, and it came up black, which means that my opponent placed a red one in the first position? I thought thats what it meant, but on my second turn, I placed a red one in the first spot again and it did not show up black! Can someone please put me on the right track about what the pegs mean?

Czuch Czuckers: The positions of the pegs do not correspond to the same position on the board.

So if you see 1 black peg, that means 1 of your pieces (not necessarily the first one) is the correct color in the correct space.

So if you see 1 white peg, that means 1 of your pieces is the correct color -NOT- in the correct space.

** edited to add -NOT- **

BIG BAD WOLF: I think you said the same thing twice?

Anyway, for example, If I guess all red ones, and my opponent has only one red one, then I should get 1 black peg and 4 white ones?
