Subject: Adding notes
Could it made so that only the last note is left visible and not previous ones?

I don't discount that. But on the same level, I don't believe that to be predominantly the case. Either "they" have a poor memory or far too many games to not know which way a game went.

Sorry for not being more defining. I mean the games where one lost before the outage. It is beyond me why anyone would play on other than to gain deceivingly.

Why do players not resign? As Danoschek so eloquently states, no honour.

Subject: Ratings
Fencer, I don't get these ratings. I know how they work, but can't understand how they're calculated. For example, I won a game against an opponent with a rating of 2545, whilst mine was 2094. When the ratings adjusted, they lost around 100 points, yet I only gained 20. Please can you explain, thanx.

Subject: Problem with Dark Chess
Fencer, in 2 of my games, my opponents pieces were not visible on squares where they should have been. I have gone back to those games, and they are now there. Unfortunately, too late in one.

With all respect, that's the whole point about a discussion. To take situations, issues etc, and discuss. If you notice, the player involved has not been "discussed" since. Thus, he bares no significance now. But, the "issue", is quite an important one as far as I'm concerned, and needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.

Basically, from experience, it is hard not to hold a grudge against those who ignore, and especially decline without reason, an invite.

Sorry if this offends, but I feel this should be "discussed" whilst this site is still in it's infancy.

Your missing the point Tonyh. If someone declines an invite, they must have taken the time in the first place to read it. To use your example, you wouldnt answer the phone and just put it straight down again!

Subject: Re: User Id's
Fencer, I understand why not to change users' id's. the user id in question is "dragon". I want to change my name to this. at IYT one can change their main name, so you could be playing against lots of people with the same name.

what im saying is, it is the user id that is fixed at IYT, but the name is what is displayed and able to be changed. confusing i know!

Fencer, can you change the setting's so user's can have the same Id as another. I want to change my name, but somebody has it, and they have not returned to the site for 2 months.

Fair points here, but Elma is right in my eyes, that when one invites, they should at least get a reason for the decline!
