Subject: Hanaslang
I notice that one of the supported languages on BrainKing is Hanaslang.  Can anyone tell me more about this language?

MrWCF: Hanaslang is based on several dialects spoken in the eastern half of the Czech Republic, in particular on the one spoken in the region of Haná - hence the name. More than a serious localization, the purpose and goal of the Hanaslang version of BK was creating somewhat funny alternative to the original Czech version. :)

So it was made to poke fun at the people in the region of Hana?

NOT a floosie: I don't think it was meant that way. But if you are looking for something negative, then I guess that is what you see

NOT a floosie: By Pedro's post I would say it was just a first go at creating an alternative language to that of czech and english. Being it a known language to Fencer, I would guess that such a conversion was easy even though not needed.

NOT a floosie: Well, I think I can answer "Yes" to that question. Hanaslang was made by members of the Haná people (I used to be one of them, but opted not to continue working on it, as I had originally thought BK.hh would be just a translation of BrainKing into the Haná dialect), in part to make fun of themselves indeed. They did a very good job in my opinion and it sometimes really is a blast reading the Hanaslang. :)

Pedro Martínez: Thanks, that was the way I took your first post.  I wanted to make sure I was taking it correctly.

NOT a floosie: If you didn't mean to imply any negative connotations by your "poking fun," then yes, you were taking it correctly.

Pedro Martínez: My question did not imply anything negative.  It was simply a question to see if I was reading your post correctly.  The negativity was implied by a person posting after me.
