Jump in and play a few. it does take a few to get the hang of it, also if you have questions you can ask here http://brainking.com/en/Board?bc=77

Fellowships are private groups within the site, there are social and gaming fellowships, most welcome anyone, if you have more questions you can ask here http://brainking.com/en/Board?bc=24

Also Fellowships?

Thanks in advanced :)

On the LHS single click on 'Tip of the day,' then single click on 'Fellowship,' then single click on 'Favourite boards,' then on 'Friends online' and finally on 'Date and time,' then press the windows key, then quickly press the 'U' key twice!
Enjoy

This will definitely take abuse of the system down. If a game now last longer than a year, it is probably an Anti Backgamon game with loose time controls.

Undertaker.: in the new system you brain rooks can have a max of 35+10+5 vacation days per year

in the old system you could more than that .. each renewel would give a brain rook 35 extra days .. the 70 days you speak about are probably bought in the old system

give the new system some time to start :)

Fencer: Found it already on the paid membership details for rooks....

1.2.2) Brain Rook

A player with Brain Rook membership level can use up to 35 vacation days a year. After some vacation days are used, it is possible (twice a year) to get some extra days (during the same year) if the membership is renewed by another year (or longer period) - 10 after the first renewal and 5 after the second one.

joshi tm: Sorry, but ridiculous was your understanding. The goal would be don't achieve an achievement, of course. Besides, my idea is very usual in others situations. In USA, you have Oscares for the best movie, for the best actor, for the best actress, etc., and in the day before, there's an event where is choosed the worst movie, actor, actress, producer, etc. Of course, nobody want be the worst actor and actress, right?

And about my idea, i can understand that block users by 5 or 10 players, block users in 5 discussion boards are bad ideas or dubious ideas, but 10 consecutive lose games (with or without time-out), 5 or 10
consecutive lose games (with or without time-out) in same type of game, etc. would be interesting...

Assunto: Re: Unlikely archievements.
joshi tm: I understand your point, but that can be a dubious question. I don't want make "1000 moves in 1 day". However, you would want say that an archievement is a good thing (something like a guiness book lol) and my proposal is the contrary. :)

But if we're created achievements, so why not create bad achievements or something like that? Block users by 5 or 10 players; block users in 5 discussion boards; block users 5 times in the same discussion board; 10 consecutive lose games (with or without time-out); 5 or 10 consecutive lose games (with or without time-out) in same type of game.

So, is it a good idea?

AbigailII:

Score max possible points on all of Dice Poker, Triple Dice Poker, Dice Poker 6D and Triple Dice Poker 6D. ------ That would be hard, if not almost impossible. I would be surprised if anyone has gotten the "max" points. Maybe Fencer can look through the database to find out what the highest score in all those games are, then make an achievement between 50-100 points below that max as the achievement. (of course each game would be a little different.)
