once again BBW...you are so right ;o) xoxoxoxox LOL
I lost a few moves...so what, must be worth maybe a cent??? i wont complain about that :o) Backups every day now, you cant do it much more frequent than that can you
It's very funny to hear pawns, who did NOTHING and yet have benefit of being accepted on this server, complaining about something, what is very often happening with all servers on the internet, but this server this thing affected once I remember and with the insufficient hardware it's a sort of a miracle. I personally would pay MORE if I was able to, to prevent this stuff, but what do you do, PAWNS? I'm disgusted...
The only people I see complaining are pawns. Most everyone else knows that by being paid members, we are helping towards the goal of a new server which will make this site beter in the long run. Heck, this is the first (more then a few minutes) down time I have seen for a long time of this site, and with the old equipment that this site currently runs - that is pretty good!
Keep up the work Fencer, this is a great gamesite.
This hasn't happened for more than a year. The site is ridiculously cheap, do you always ask for your money back when similarly infrequent hiccoughs occur with things for which you've laid out equivalent cash? Your griping is pathetic.
but I dont see an awful lot of "paid" members complaining.Perhaps you could show your support in making this site better,by joining the "paid" members? ;-)
You're wrong, Swampthing. Paying members don't demand a refund when something goes wrong, we rally round and try to get more funds flowing in so Fencer and co. can get the new server that this site needs.

I'm happy I am not a payed member! I would be very [edited] if my moves just dissapear, after I paied a several bucks. I want to believe this isnt a joke, right?? What hapenned Fencer??
it sure is tough to play games here when people get second chances in games...how can i be rated if the GREAT moves i made last evening and early this morning are GONE..!!..what am i being rated on...how well i do the second time around...???....what a joke
<If you want to know your own vacation days you can go to Settings -> Calendar and it says how many days you have left.
If you mean other player's days... well, then you can't know... (I really think there should be a way too)
When a game times out, that day is set as a vacation day. If another game times out 5 mins later, it will notice that day is already set as a vacation day and automatically extend itself, without spending another day.
can you see how many vacation days someone has left ?
when a game times out and the player has auto vacation days set .. does it add an extra day to the time for all other games that person is playing as well or does it cost 1 vacation day per timed out game ?
I was just thinking Fencer has to approve each new account - which would be done the next time he is online (night time his time right now), but I guess it could just be a set 24 hours.
making new id's wait 24 hours to play at BrainKing.. just curious I have a friend who just signed up and wanted to play a game.. but, he has to wait 24 hours..

I'm surprised that the complainig comes from somebody who is playing 500+ games and makes his moves in the game with me quite slowly. :-)
Sure it's sometime wearing on the nerves when somebody takes the whole time, but it's allowed - so what?
