The game Hasami Shogi, as it is currently implemented on BrainKing, is absolutely unbalanced, which is wrong. Luckily, a nice and simple solution has been offered a few days ago - if a horizontal line of five connected stones is built, such constellation would not be considered as a win. In other words, if we leave only vertical and diagonal winning positions (or capturing all opponent's pieces) as the options to win, the game would become interesting and playable again. This change will be effective for new games started since 21st February 2007, 00:00:00 GMT+01:00.
