anastasia: no. I didn't explain that well.
Fencer sets up team tournaments. You can create a team from your fellowship and assign a captain who will sign up your tournament's team for the team tournament to compete with all the other teams signed up.

In the past, I know of a certain fellowship who wanted to have a competition against another fellowship they challenged.
They kept track of them the way you are keeping trakc of the guys vs gals tourney in your fellowship.

I hope this clears that up- please feel free to send me a PM with any questions or post them here.

Could anyone who still has active games in the Cardhu team Pente tournament please make an effort to make moves in those games more frequently and finish up those games. The players in the second round have already been determined and there are just a handful of games remaining that are holding up round two.

Thanks,
Thad

Sujet: Re: can we pair people up?
anastasia: No, you cannot pair people up yourself using the brainking tournament system. You have to do all that with regular games and call it a tournament (as you seem to be doing)

And your opponent timing out doesn't help your BKR if they time out in the first 2 moves...

As some of you knw that post here,in my fellowship I have a guys V gals tourney going but the guys had to send an invite out to the girls. Is it possible when I set up tourneys to pair the people up myself or not? I don't seem to think I can do it but thought I would ask anyways. btw...when a certain person times out agianst me,it just helps my rating, lol

I really think that CameronsDad should be removed from every tourney they enter. If they only going to make 2 move then time out just so they don't lose any BKR then why let them play.

This says it is a random tournament but it is really only for spider line 4, 2 games wins match, under 2000 bkr, single elimination.

Perhaps we eventually get BKR's for randomness?

12. Février 2006, 22:25:37

I'm not really sure how that works, with the BKR. I guess you'd have to ask Fencer on that one.

12. Février 2006, 22:25:13
rod03801
I am actually thinking that there is probably no need to give the creator any option to control the BKR level in random tournaments. (At least in it's present incarnation.)

Sujet: Re:
furbster: So when you do a random tournament with several different games and a BKR limit, then the bkr limit would be required for all the games included, I guess?

For example if I am over 2000 bkr in one line game and under in all other line games and I want a random tournament for all lines games for under 2000 bkr, then I would not be eligaBLE TO PLAY IN ANY OF THE GAMES?

12. Février 2006, 22:22:27
rod03801
Also, since you made it a Random tourney, I believe there is no way for your BKR constraints to be automatically checked by the system.

12. Février 2006, 22:21:16
rod03801
Right, the creator decides the "pool" of games that the random games are generated from.

Czuch Chuckers: it is for spider line 4, yes, it'll still work.. but theres nothing random about it thats all, because whatever happens you'll get spider line 4. However if you'd of put spider linetris in there too, you could of got either spider line 4 OR spider linetris.
