In this bill I am to pay 65% of the insurance cost of the employees that I have and I will receive a tax credit of 35%. Big deal I still have to initially put out the 65% but after the dust settles I am still responsible for 30%. That is the portion of my payment that I do not receive reimbursement. That comes straight off the bottom line. But there is more. If I choose to downsize and lay workers off and they draw unemployment, my unemployment insurance will go up because I have people drawing unemployment. The rippling effects of this health care bill will be tidal waves in the future as we small business owners try to comply, within the bounderies of this bill. More empy shops will line the street here in Osage Beach. Unemployment will rise. If anyone that voted for this bill had actually studied the economic impact just within there district then they would not have voted for this bill. Thank You Ike for voting no! Overall the american people did not want this, but we were not listened to so beware to the democrats, who said yes, for I can see come next election you standing in the ever growing line of unemployment.

the politicians do it for votes...same as they spend billions of dollars every year provideing unwed/divorced mothers with state aid,medical support, and free legal council. not only do they do this, they write new laws to make it very hard to comply with state requests.
why not equal representation?
if a terrorist who attempts to kill can be afforded equal representation, why not hard working tax paying americans?

Humor depends on ones perspective. If you don't find this to be funny, it may speak of your nature. Remember, humor always has a line of truth running through it:

For those that don't know about history . . . Here is a condensed version:

Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers.
They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.

The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting
of humanity into two distinct subgroups:

1. Liberals, and
2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain, and that was the beginning of agriculture.
Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative
movement.

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.

Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide
how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Bud. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, pharmacists, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives,
athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That
is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America.
They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for
nothing.

Here ends today's lesson in world history:

It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it.

A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to tick them off.

pursuit of happiness is the part that makes this statement non-socialist.

your case regarding the teacher just once again proves government is trying to control our minds, our freedoms, and our rights of life. what happened to that teacher was not justice...it was a political coup,imo.

try being in 5th grade in a 98% black school the day ML king was assasinated.
as you can see from my picture...I'm not black.
2 monthes of living hell.
I had friends who would tip me off as to where the high school kids where waiting to beat up the white kids, and I would take my younger brothers out of their classes early to try and sneak out another exit, and run like hell 7 blocks to our home. sometimes we made it...most of the time we didnt.

every time I hear a black person yell "racist" , I think about those days.
its my opinion that only a racist would call another racist. the fact that that mentality is on their mind is proof it takes one to know one.

John was in the fertilized egg business. He had several hundred young layers (hens), called 'pullets,' and ten roosters to fertilize the eggs. He kept records, and any rooster not performing went into the soup pot and was replaced.

This took a lot of time, so he bought some tiny bells and attached them to
his roosters. Each bell had a different tone, so he could tell from a distance, which
rooster was performing. Now, he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report by just listening to the bells.

John's favorite rooster, Hussein, was a very fine specimen, but this morning he noticed Hussein's bell hadn't rung at all! When he went to investigate, he saw the other roosters were busy chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing, but the pullets, hearing the roosters coming, could run for cover.

To John's amazement, Hussein had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one. John was so proud of Hussein, he entered him in the Renfrew County Fair and he became an overnight sensation among the judges.


The result was the judges not only awarded Hussein the No Bell Piece Prize but they also awarded him the Pulletsurprise as well. Clearly Hussein was a politician in the making.

Who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most highly coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populace and screwing them when they weren't paying attention
