Pawnchucker: The only thing with a movie like Memento is once you've watched it once you dont want to see it again. I found that with Butterful effect. Although I thought it was a great movie, I may not see it again.
Not seen Jacobs ladder tho. How old is it?

harley: Ya I wasnt impressed when I saw it at home. My 15yr old went to the theatre to see it. Had I known what was in it he never would have seen it. I was embarrassed watching the 'sex' scene. My husband said it was the directors cut and that part wasnt in the theatre version. Still not impressed. It should have been xrated.

Summertop: I guess I was expecting something else from the movie. I saw it too and hadnt read the books or played any games before seeing it. Our son saw it first and said it was such a kool flick so we went to see it. Mildly dissapointed and would say its a'n ok rental rather then a theatre flick. Going to check out this game link you posted!

Summertop: THAT is the one thing that made me roar watching the previews! We rented Get Shorty a few weeks ago as we couldn't remember it much either. I figured it would help me relate to the new one.

Got one called 'Triggermen' for tonite plus Full Monty and Incredibles. I took Dradgonhearts advice and didnt pick up the new Exorcist.

Summertop: Had you seen 'Get Shorty' first? I figured what they did in the sequal was get the big guns out, meaning all the star power, so the story line could b flat and wouldnt matter. I'll wait for it on vid

MindyDaBrat: yes that is the one. It is a view of the life of the firefighters. Pretty good!

I cant wait to see Whitenoise too. I love Keaton movies so I'm sure it will be good.

New to theatres are
the Ring2,
Cursed,
the Jacket (Adrien Broddy an it looks good)
Constantine (not a true horror but pretty darn good! OK I'm biased cuz of Keanu!)
Coming soon to theatres:
Amityville Horror
House of Wax (cant wait)
and much much more!

Summertop: I'm impressed that you wrote your own program! We use .asp in our work here but have never written a program!

We stopped lending out when we noticed some not coming back. I guess it is time for us to create a database of our own. We are finding it more difficult to recall what movies we have when we go to fleamarkets and find them on sale! We ended up with two copies of 'league of extraordinary gentlemen'!

Summertop: Quite an impressive library youve got there (Kool that you have it in asp. Easier to update!). We have about 500 VHS we've collected over the past 12 yrs. Since we started buying DVD the last year or so we dont buy as many as I would like. Probably have about 135 so far. We normally go to the theatre for the big ones, then if they are really good we wait till they are on sale cheap b4 we buy em to rewatch them. The vid store loves us as we rent at least twice a week. We should have shares in the store!

Anyone see Ong-Bok yet? I heard it is amazing (no wires, no trick photography) But that it is subtitled.

Sujet: Monster House
Am I the only one hooked on this show?

Our house was plain and simple.
It was safe and normal.
It was nice and sweet.

But we all agreed we could use a change,
And then something happened that was very strange.

'Cause a van showed up.
All our stuff went flyin',
And my mom was cryin' till the job was done.
Now it's a monster house.
It's a monster house.
It's a monster house.
And we all just love it it's a monster house.
