What is the problem of if you do not want nothing to do with it, instead of throwing a lot of negative comments towards it, just let it be?

Before the site went down, I went through almost all my fellowships, and I'm always listed at the top of the list! (Well under the BIG BOSS).

I would be interested in knowing how it is sorted also - I had always figured that everyone seen their own name at the top of the list.... but I guess I'm just special! :-)

Yea, I had an old invite - I was tired of the US election 2 months before it happened so I never wanted in the old one - but will give the new one a try.

I almost always see myself near the top of the fellowship list, but I was just thinking that you only see your own name near the top.... but maybe not?

Well it looks like Badinage is dead and some want to keep it that way, which I guess is fine. (It wasn't my place to pick a new BIG BOSS - just was trying to help that fellowship.)

O'well - Uncensored and Steamy looks like the new BADINAGE of the site, and I'm already there! :-)

I started to laugh also when I heard the word "Gentlemen" when talking about us Cave people.... and I'm a member! :-)

The fellowship vs. fellowship tournaments (Team tournaments) are pretty new to the site. So far, Fencer has been going through all the game types and starting up about 5 or so at a time. Currently there is only 1, but I would expect a couple more soon.

The tournament you set up from within your fellowship can only be joined by members of the fellowship.

Even if that is marked, they still can not read it. :-)

Pawns can not get into fellowships... unless something has changed.

It's typical LJ - if you have not been on the site for long, LJ loves doing thing to try to mess with other users "because he can" as he would say it.

Thanks Fencer - I notice that a person who is leaving a fellowship now has the option to leave a message to the BIG BOSS.

I think there is a script which updates that list - I remember when I joined a new fellowship not to long ago, it took a few minutes before it showed up on my Fellowship list.

Maybe the fellowships should start posted how many players each need to enter the next round of team tournament - since lets say 2 different fellowships have 1/2 a team, and we can not find anyone else to join - they could join one of the fellowships as 1 team so everyone gets to play.

While reading messages through the fellowships, I seen that there were a few that needed players. Here are a couple I'm in that I know need players:

Pente - Polygonal alien killers Fellowship - Need at least 3 more players

Reversi 8x8 - Stevies Checkered Reversed Lines(SCRL) Fellowship - Needs at least 2 more players

Other fellowships - please post what you still need and maybe we can find players without teams, or combine a couple of teams so everyone who wants to play can play!

... But the limitation of 2 fellowships for the rooks is not currently in place, correct? Just something talked about.

I think there should be a limit on the number of fellowships 1 person can have (either 2 or 3) (well I would prefer 3 since I have 3, but either 2 or 3 would be good.)

Yea...... I actually have 4, but the 4th one is basicly for testing and finding bugs and such - can be deleted or removed at any time.

But then what is going to happen is another cult type group will come along and make their group of fellowships, and then they can just spread out who is the actually "BIG BOSS".

What would be a good solution is the ability to have multiply discussion boards and such in the fellowships.

That will be a VERY long fellowship name then! :-)

Sad to see no "girls team" in the Atomic Chess Team Tournament. It was going to be fun to watch the men from "The Cave" fellowship beat a girls team, but it looks like they are all too afraid.... :-(

Well i took 10 minutes, made logo's for my BIG BAD Battleboats, Gammon Cube, and Amazing Amazons and sent them off to Fencer.

For the short amount of time I spent on them, I kind of like them.

I know it's posted somewhere, but I'm feeling really lazy right now.

What is the size that a fellowship logo should be? I guess I should get something up on my fellowships.

Amazing Amazons is a new fellowship dedicated to the game of Amazons. Amazons is currently not available on BrainKing, but hopefully it will be soon. So I have jumped the gun and created this fellowship which I have already started to post game tips and strategies.

Actually the debate about what can and can not be done with Fellowship post seems to be about Fellowships!

Maybe in the next couple of days once people have the answers that they need, the Moderator can go through and clean up all these messages and just point them to the user agreemenet which has the correct rules which should be followed.

They placed a post elsewhere on this site - in your mailbox! Unless Fencer is going to change the rules to allow it, as the rules are written now - this is not allowed!
