I dream  for an «embassy loop» and a «Grand chess loop» respecting the Shogi drop rule. That say not droping a pawn if that doubles the pawn on a column.

I think we then will reach the highest complexity in chess.

Sujet: Is it a "sandbag" board?
Hello,
I wish to make test move (like thinking with my fingers) when seeing my positions.
I would be a little surprised, if it don't exist but I can't find out even if I try the all menu on the left hand.

Could someone help me, please?

Sujet: A board for analyse, at SHOGI at least.
I would appreciate an optionnal board when playing for analyse, in order to "think with fingers" as one says OTB.
If I am not clear enough, this optionnal board can be seen at Chess.com while playing.

Permit I give my point of view.
First, please, keep in mind Chess and his variants are supposed to reflect a battle.

So in place to changing chess in a kind of gambling casino game, I suggest some light, soft modifications:

-Add to the Bishop and the Knight a vertical and horizontal move of one square.
Nomore those numerous stupid draw because "bishops on different colors squares";
Nomore draws because a Bishop or a Knight can't mate in case of K+B/N vs K.

- Stalemating the King opponent is considered as a win. What a non sense to call that a draw? The opponent King will be fired if he moves and you agree for a draw? Come on man!

- Who on the hearth, considering chess is the movie of a battle, could admit the Pawn movement is not ridiculous,? I suggest:
a) the Pawn move as it is now but can take vertically and diagonally. Where come from an infantry unit can't attack what is facing up?
b) Pawn can move backward. Why refuse a unit to drawback?

All that eliminate close to 99% of draw games and offer a new breath to our calculation with the satisfaction the picture of a battle is nearest.

Note: don't forget all those little, logical, ful of common sense modifications should be applied to Janus and Grand Chess for the pleasure of all of us.

AbigailII: Sorry for my rough english. I thought about only ONE move like a Rook, in order to eludate the dumb finals with Bishops on different colored square.

I would just like to excite your imagination.

In Westernized chess, one thing is irritating: the finals with Bishops on different colored cases. What do you think about the possibility of Bishop to move from one cell like the Rook?

I am surprised that so far, person had the idea of joining the cannon of Chinese chess. You know, the piece that moves as the Rook but could capture only if another piece is screening to the target.

I think it would be good to add it to a game like chess Grand Chess.

What do you think?

Would it not be desirable to display the image of the position and the last move?
So, we could enjoy the position, without overloading the BrainKing site.

Sujet: Analysis board (follow).

I anticipate one of your suggestions: "use a real board!"

I own chess, shogi, xiangqi, go boards. But I share my house with 4 cats. Although they are not really stupids they persist to think they could play better than me and, of course, I don't agree (I am an annoying person). The result is a shamble on the board. Those who live with cats would easily understand me.

Also I don't own 10x8 boards.

All that to explain the reason why I wish an analysis board on the screen.

Sujet: Analysis board.
In my opinion, creating an analysis board would be a great improvement. Did you already took a look at www.schemingmind.com? You could better understand what I mean. It is "only" a board were you can freely move pieces like on a really board, not an "intelligent board".

Could someone suggest me a software in that way, I would be grateful. Despite my researches with Google, I didn't found any.
