Walter Montego: It was nothing personal Walter. A lot of names were raised and not everyone could be asked. It wasn't exactly a vote, more a discussion with two names agreed on at the end of it.

I'm assuming you mean for becoming a global moderator. If you're talking about something else, then I couldn't say. Rose being one of the new global moderator leads me to believe that is what you're talking about. There's a group that decides who the next one will be. I had thought it was Fencer's decision, but he lets this group do it. I do not know the make up of this group, but I would think it is the existing global moderators. Perhaps one of them will let us in on how it is decided or alternatively who the group is. I'm guessing, but they problably choose amongst the people that asked to become a global moderator. I asked to become one, but I asked Fencer not this group. He said he'd refer my name to the group. A few days later Rose and Rod became global moderators. I apparently didn't get enough votes. :)

Czuch Chuckers:True from,true facts,i acknowledge as we'll as you.

What really ponders me is that people lose vacation Days, then the weekends turn from 1 week to a month.

The next move is to buy vacation Days.

As far Rose being a glob i believe there should have been a vote seeeing how other people can and will play other people's games,i specify that issue when i notice when a player is going to lose and logs off,i know there going to another player to view the game.

So i said my peace and would respect my intellengence regarding this issue at hand, everyone must understand and not disregard this as a serious issue to be brought up.

I will finish this as respect for the site, and a great one,and the best, but as i said above there has to be a remedy to this issue.

Always your true friend Mike.

They can not send you a game invite nor private message..
Maybe this should be the same if someone has blocked you.. Today I recieved a game invite, which i declined, and they then sent me a private message.. I can not reply as they have me blocked..
So maybe the block system should be altered to suit?

I have a game that the opponent has timed out, but instead of getting the win, the time is saying -3 minutes etc. Why is this and when will the game really time out?

HalfPawn: Some people like to organize prize tourneys and Fencer's idea allows one to do that for free. I think it's an excellent idea and remember it's only one type of promotion. And yes it's "free." You pay for a membership (which you'd do anyway) and if you do it now, you can run a prize tourney. BK is essentially providing the prize for free.

Czuch Chuckers: yeah you only roll 3 till first on the board.. but you get a re roll after 6 anytime, so you can do that anytime of the game and get 3 rolls if the first two are 6's...
but yes, i do mean what you just said, because like i said a moment ago.. usually you would move after rolling the die each time... not roll it again after a 6 then treat it as a single move

9. Mars 2006, 02:23:18
Czuch
Sujet: Re: Ludo rules
Stevie: To me, it sounds like you only roll 3 dice until you get your first 6 and you use that roll to put your first player on the board. Then after this only on die is rolled? So if you have no players on the board and you roll 6 6 2 you have to use that whole roll to get your first player on the board, and if it is not possible to make the whole turn, then you lose that turn and try again next turn? Are you saying that if you roll 6 6 2 then you should be able to just use the 6 part to get a player on the board, and if you dont have anymore options after that, then you stay with the 6 roll only and then roll the one die again and continue from there?

Sujet: Re:
Eriisa: 6 puts you on the start at first, but you may also use it to move a piece already on the board,, usually you would roll die, move piece then if you get a 6, you then roll again and then move etc etc

9. Mars 2006, 02:08:06
Eriisa
I think the 6 simply opens the door. The 2nd die is the amount of the move.

Stevie
Sujet: Ludo rules
need a little altering though...
When you say roll,,, 6,6,3 each die should be treat seperately, so you move the first amount, then the next etc until you cannot move more ( only one piece can move though)
At the moment if you cannot move the whole 6+6+3 (21) spaces,, It makes you pass
