I dont understand who is being protected here and why? A handfull of multi niks? To keep other topics from being buried?

You want this swept under the rug, my advice is to allow it to run its course, it will make it disappear a lot faster than censorship will! Or maybe you dont want Pedro to remove the board from his favorites list????? That must be it! LMBO!

It doesn't involve and effect me at all, Chuck. Plus I'm sure that if you asked more than half of the 25302 BK users, they would tell you that they've never heard of anyone named bumble.

Yes, boards do get cleaned up quite a lot when subjects go way off topic mainly because people coming online and reading it feel the need to answer, justifying it by saying they weren't online at the time.

Enough.

I understand people are curious and want to discuss this issue, but there is a yahoo group and a fellowship (I think) open to anyone who wishes to discuss it.

This is too emotional a subject to fill pages and pages on this board. If there was one straight easy answer it would be ok, but there isn't and probably never will be. So please, if you want to discuss it, go to the yahoo group or the fellowship. Any more posts will have to be deleted because they are off topic.

BIG BAD WOLF: people have a choice of game sites similar to this one to use. Do people really want to play on one that has a scammer multi nik as a global moderator in charge of their posts and who other moderators are? I mean, look how many people related to Bumble are current moderators. What if they are all really the same person? Is that what we want for this site, a group of multi niks running the discussion boards? Maybe you are a multi nik as well? I have had Bumble moderate me and tell me he was saving the site from my post, now find out he was just a scammer? Is this the type of person we want to trust to help out here? We are told that Bumble is a private person, but he sure didnt prove that by his life on here, did he If I really wanted privacy, I could just play my games and chat a bit and everything would be fine. Nobody forced him to become a global moderator, nobody forced him to scam eveyone with a fake personal interview, did we? Is that the life of a person who wants privacy???? The answer to these questions surley is of public interest and concern to all here on Brainking!

ScarletRose: "It's a shame that you were led to believe they were all something they are not.."

I've never said I do or do not believe what has been said, what I have said is that it is really no one's business - who am I to demand information about someone's private life? This is an on-line game site, on-line being the key word - if someone does not want to give too much personal inforamatin about themsleves, then that is their right - to hound them to give personal information about themselves is border-line stalking.

I will never understand why is this such a big story. Did they/she/he do some harm to BrainKing? I don't think so. They/she/he actually helped the site a lot. Did they/she/he hurt anyone playing here? No matter what the answer to this question is, I don't see one valid reason why should it be discussed on this board. If the answer is no, then what's the problem? If the answer is yes, then these people should take care of it privately (since it's only a matter of these two parties) and not "bother" other people who have nothing in common with it.

BIG BAD WOLF: LOL, we are both doing the same thing then... I am only responding to a public post that announced Bumble is dead. That same post asked that we not ask any questions right away, when questions were brought up, they were deleted. Now it has been over amonth, and I think it has been plenty of time to hold off on any questions.

Is bumble really dead? How did he die? How about an obituary, or a funeral, or where to send condolences etc? These are all normal questions that we were asked to not ask for a period of time, that time has lapsed.

Tuesday: Wasn't "hushed", was pointed to other places so it does not take up a ton of room on the public board like all this is doing right now. Czuch has done what he wanted, and has caused more of a ruckas on this board.

Public mobs are not a good thing, no matter if you are part of the mob, the one being mobbed, or just watching the mob from the sideline.

BIG BAD WOLF: you would be surprised by some word of mouth at the group.. who has been taken advantage of and who has talked about it.. there are several others over there wanting to spill the beans as well but they hesitate due to peeps such as yourself who wish not to have open minds..

It is a shame that someone can get away with making a whole site mourn for them.. and spend all their free time searching for phrases to use at a funeral.. all in a good natured way.. to be drug into their lies.. (for whatever reason is beyond me)..

It's a shame that you were led to believe they were all something they are not..

Scarlet: word of mouth of a bunch of people gossiping won't affect a site in which people come to play games. It can cause people to want to leave tho.

Sujet: Re: Please hold any questions about bumble at this time. It is a difficult time. Thank you for your consideration.
ScarletRose: First you need to learn the difference between a rumor and a fact. So far it is a rumor that all these people are the same person. Fencer can see this information, and I'm sure he does keep track - and would not allow players on this site to be taken advantage of by people cheating. It looks like you are being swept up with rumors, and just because there are not any facts to counter these rumors does not make them true.

There's no proof there are multinics.

That right there is proof enough.

BIG BAD WOLF: so many peeps were played on BBW from this site.. are you saying it is allowed?? and why should we go private.. Fencer has the ability to see the IP numbers why did he allow it? And if he didn't want stuff like that to happen.. well.. it probably is still happening here.. just different nics now.. it should be a concern.. those who got burned and feel the site ignores it.. will eventually leave.. and their word of mouth can effect this site.. that's common sense..

Sujet: Re:
Tuesday: Every family is different then, aren't they? I'm godparents to 3 children and I've never had to submit to an interview. All they did was ask me and I said "yes".
And what does that have to do with a game site anyways?
Truthfully, I've about had it with this place. It used to be a friendly place where people could come to get away from their troubles and have fun and make friends. It doesn't feel like that any more to me.
It feels like a witch hunt, and for what purpose?
Comparing it to the KM is absurd. There's been no mass cheating and in fact, the tournaments started by many of the family members are prize tourneys for players on the site in which they aren't even participating. Look at their ratings....why would anyone accuse them of being a multi-nic for cheating purposes?
These people are my friends and are NOT multinics, and I'm very tired of this mob mentality. The only reason that I can come up with for everyone's curiosity is plain, simple nosiness.
"Inquiring minds have to know". Go buy a People magazine, or National Inquirer or a Star. I'm sure there's plenty of stories there far more interesting.
