I read the announcement and encouragement about Firefox 3, now in release candidate status. While Firefox has been a wonderful, fairly safe browser, this RC consumes a great deal of memory and still has some other issues as well. Its speed is reportedly up to the current champ, Safari, and far more than Explorers of any kind and age.
It'll be interesting to see how and if this RC is imporved. Meantime, on Windows, I use Safari (which has its own issues) and Opera, and on Linux, Swiftweasel, a Firefox relative.
I'd be curious to know what others use, and what their experiences and opinions about browsers are...
