Well let me throw out this idea.

A limited time Special of $20 for a year Rook membership or extension of of rook membership for a year.

I know for myself, I was unemployed for a year 1/2, and now working at a non-profit children center, so I'm now very "tight" with my money, so for myself I can not give money away without getting something in return - and if I could get a discount at extending my membership for another year, I would look at that very hard, and I'm sure others would also - especially if the money will be used towards a new server.

We have aprox 400 paid members, if only half those put down $20 that amount could be accomplished without much problem. This amount is approx £13 This is only a small amount more than a Mcdonalds for a family of 3. Which we all fork out on even when we say we are skint (just putting it into an example to show its not a fortune to those who would like to help)

I just want to make sure you are away of the problems (and details) in case they help with anything.

I can only access boards and 1 game with Fencer LOL

I was just going in to look at my tournaments, and I'm getting only 1/2 page on all tournaments that I look at.

When I go look at a tournament (Like This One) - The last line I see is the "Last term to sign up: 15 February 2004, 19:00:00

Does anyone else see this error, or is it just me?

i actually sorted mine out i did a search with the spybot programme and deleted all the rubbish . its been ok since for me ...it was puzzling at the time though .

I've seen some weird things for that past week (on different computers) Like today, I have seen the background image of the "Brain" show up every once and awhile. (even though on my settings, it is off) - and seeing the same thing plus more last week (which I posted about already).

It's my machine at work.. no choice in the matter ;-D

I've had a simliar problem with my work pc, all sorts of things are now links to 'nt search engine' I think.. I think I got some sort of ad pop up at some time, which I thought I'd closed, but think it actually downloaded something nasty.. now they reckon they're gonna have to reinstall explorer for me to sort the problem :(

Weird links coming up sounds like some kind of spyware is messing with your computer. I suggest downloading spybot from http://spybot.safer-networking.de/ and Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ Most likely those programs will find the problem and fix it.

I think your computer's got a gambling fixation, Jason. And surely your computer's too young for viagra?

I have had this phenomenon too , must be something like a virus!

We have no such links here. Maybe your browser is kind of weird and creates them itself :-)

no i meam where it says total number of your GAMES the game bit is linkable not all the time though and goes through to some sort of search page ... im mainly mentioning it incase someone has managed to hack into fencers system .
