If one's "old" doctor isn't in the new exchange, then you can't see that doctor for care. And one problem is that those buying into the exchanges are signing up for medicare and are therefore draining from the system. There are not enough young people paying into the system. So far I have insurance through my work but I'm told that could change in the future. Still, my rates are up by over a thousand dollars a year.
