I just got an e-mail from peta2 and it said that baby male chicks are thrown alive into a highspeed grinder because they are considered non-profitable!

Artful Dodger: oh dear GAWD! that link was just terrible to look at...HOW ,in this day and age are companies able to get away with something so horrendous!?!

Artful Dodger: I have herad some horrific things about HOW chickens are kept but I have never heard of this practice either,about the chicks...after seeing pics tho of HOW the hens are kept..makes me not want to eat eggs or chicken tho
