I would like to clarify that, in my question, *rightfully* was, exactly, the key word, since it is obvious humanity has claimed dominance over life on Earth. The judge of the "rightfully" in my question, was not supposed to be anything outside the sphere of Earthly life, but *you*, as the question asks whether *you* think it is so :).

I second the proposition for speachless to be interviewed next!

ThunderGr: Ok. :). Right, like freedom, is bound up with responsibility. Humans have not behaved responsibly with the planet and those lives that depend on it. Therefore humans have not 'rightfully' claimed dominance over life on earth.
