As the other posters have said, you won't see them on the Waiting games page. I think the games should show there. Then you'd see them and not worry about it. It may be different for many people depending on the games that are actually waiting. For instance, you won't see any games where the creator has specified that no pawns can play that game. Or those that don't want to play against unrated players.
