What is BrainKing?

BrainKing is an online game server where anyone can play popular board games with anybody around the world. Our site supports a wide variety of classic (Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, Go, ...), modern (Lines of Action, Breakthrough, Dice Poker, Logik, ...) and even user invented (Cloning Backgammon, Frog Finder, Capablanca Random Chess, ...) board games and many other functions and advantages. Easy and intuitive - BrainKing can be viewed and used with all major web browsers (Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Opera, ...) and does not require to install any other software. You can access and play your games from any computer which is connected to the internet.
The basic membership is FREE - you can register a free account, play the games and pay nothing at all! There is no trial period - you can use the free account as long as you want to. And if you are satisfied with our services, you can easily upgrade to a higher membership level and unlock a huge amount of members only advantages and new features.
A huge archive - BrainKing stores and archives all finished games, tournaments, matches, discussions etc. in its database and makes it open for everyone to browse and search. If you complete an interesting game, you can always find it later on your Profile page. If you want to learn strategies of top players, simply find their games and analyze any positions browsing the past moves.
Join the community - BrainKing provides a discussion board system which is accessible for all registered users and covers many interesting topics. You can discuss your favourite game strategies, ask for a help, find new friends or game opponents, anything you like. The boards are maintained by experienced users who keep the content on-topic and quickly solve any possible problems, in order to make the site friendly to everyone.
We think worldwide - BrainKing is not limited to only one language because we know that not everyone speak English. The site is fully localized to 20 languages and we want to make this number as high as possible, to be open to all nationalities in the world.
Compete individually - sign up for Tournaments which are offered in many different ways (round robin, single elimination, unrated, prize, private, ...) and get your name listed on the Winners chart. Become a paying member and create any number of your own tournaments, either public (for everyone) or private (for your friends only).
Compete teamwise - join Fellowships, become a team captain and lead your team against other teams in official Team Tournaments or unofficial team challenges among fellowships. Make your team famous on the team chart page.

Get involved - BrainKing contains its own bug tracking system and each registered user is welcome to report any bugs found on any page of the site. We know that no sophisticated web application is 100% bug free and continuously work to resolve all possible issues. Our bug tracking system allows everyone to track the status of reported problems and easily search for possible issues of his interest.
Share with other users - create own photo albums and share your favorite photos with other BrainKing users. BrainKing supports several levels of privacy, so it is very easy to make an album visible for friends only, selected users, everyone etc.
