TigerCat: Two thoughts here Tiger..

1. Did you recently put a firewall or a virus program on your puter that you might need to tune the program to accept your IE?

2. Is it possible you deleted certain files on your puter that actually were needed to run IE? Or, could you have picked up a virus?
