The posting of song lyrics is not the purpose of this board and as such please refrain from doing so. Exceptions can be made to this rule if you are the copyrighted owner of the lyrics and the lyrics are not found offensive by the majority of the population.
This board is a place to post your original works of poetry and prose and also a place for discussion of poetry and related areas.

We have received word from Fencer that other's poetry can be posted to this board. These are the two conditions:
1) When someone posts a known copyrighted poem, he must add the author's name as well
2) If the author is not known, the poem can be posted without problems

Assunto: OK Usurper :-).... here you go:

one of my first poems written in English :-)

Hereby I send you a breath from the sea:

10000 crickets
a bit of air stirring,
the salty air
and the warmth of the evening sun.

a swimmer rolling on the waves
a trotting horse along the shore.

the warm red colours of the sunset
and the opposite, the moon: gold, almost full.

the waves slowly rolling
ending up on the sand
their rustle sound is gentle
its water gives and takes back again

in motion: its own rhytme...

I watch this game of waves
and notice that this soon makes me feel at ease

and
slowly, real slowly
we become one:

this breath from the sea and me..

My response to this has been delayed because nothing I say can do it justice. This is about Being, a collaboration of the soul and the earth. More than collaboration, it is re-union, a foretaste of heaven. This is true peace. You are marvelous, Radiant. :o)
