Artful Dodger: Last I heard, there wasn't anywhere in the world that is one season apart from another. ;-)

Although I suppose an argument could be made for calling the entire year summer near the equator and winter at the poles. :-)

ScarletRose: yes it will be summer next sunday - the 1 dec is the official start but it is o hot now yuk...we are getting mid 30degC plus temps and with the bit of rain in the tropics the humidity is as high as 90%.. mid 30degs = high 80'sF
