I can't either understand this fuss about 'easy point grabbers'. There aren't that many (talking about spiderline) players in this site and some of the top players are already playing continuously against others. I really can't see any good reason for 2000+ players to decline invitivations from let's say top 5 players. I mean in the sense of protecting their ratings, of course if they just don't want to play it's always possible to decline the invitation. The bigger rist for losing ratings is always in the player with higher rating. And the only way to get better is to play against better players and learn from these games.

I would say that current top 3 players in spiderline are all truly great players not some rating grabbers. Look at their games and you can see that play against any kind of players and usually 2-game matches. All these other small-minded rating fanatics could learn something from them. After all it's only a game and ought to be fun for everyone.

Pekka
