It gets automatically reduced to 16. I can only agree with your issue, that is certainly a bug. Regarding your question - technically, an administrator can do whatever at any time. However, typically they would want to do it now and not 5 moves later. I recommend you send a personal message to Fencer, and put the link to the current game (not two moves back) in it. 3.
