pgt: Your opponent DID realize because when you click on the "resign" link, you'll see a warning message showing how many points the winner would receive. Try it.

All right, I've fixed the doubling cube position. It is shown on the possessor's side which is the player who accepted the double offer.

Subject: Doubling cube
All right, you can create your own games with doubling cube now, just use the new option "x points match with doubling cube" when you create a game.
It is not officially released because I didn't update the rules yet, and it's not possible to create tournaments with a doubling cube at the moment. But you can play :-)

Subject: Re:
WhiteTower: Tavli, sure. There is a small problem with Plakoto because pieces of both colours can be placed on the same position, which requires to create many new pictures for these combinations. But from a programmer's point of view, the model should be easy to implement.

Hrqls: No separated BKR. All backgammon variants will be extended by an option of doubling cube games. It's better to keep it simple instead of making each backgammon variant (I want to add more of them later) twice.

Thank you everyone :-) I think it's been already tested enough, so I can release it later today.

Any volunteers who would test this option with me? I don't want to release it until at least several games are played and most of the situations checked.

wayney had been banned from the site several months ago. Time has come to do the same with BrainKing04 [both of them are LongJohn, of course].

Subject: The bug
I've just added these two points to the rules:
  • If it is possible, both dice must be used. It means that some pieces can become "frozen" in certain positions because making a move with these pieces would create a situation where the second dice couldn't be used.
  • If only one die can be used, the one with the higher number must be chosen.

Please let me know if it really works. I hope I've fixed this issue at last but I could easily overlook some special cases :-)

BIG BAD WOLF: There was a bug in the timeout checker, it should be fixed now. If such anomaly occurs again, please report it to the Bug Tracker.

No, I did it but after a database server crash, I had to regenerate the histories and these BKRs appeared again. Anyway, they should be out now.

About Nackgammon - it is pretty possible, I've just got a start position picture somewhere and maybe it is not correct. I'll fix it.
Dice swapping - click on "Swap dice" link under the board.
