Over time, a player will learn when they are beat, some will resign and some hold on hope for the win by time out. I for one know nothing about the game so I would end up playing until it was obvious to me (a beginner) that I was beat. Most experienced players know when a game is won long before the novice, and it doesn't really matter what the game type is. 1. After 5 yrs of play, we're still in the first round! - check it out LUCKY THIRTEEN Wait until the second round, most of the games will be won by default due to the amount of players that advanced by winning their round and now they do not play here anymore. April 2009, 18:36:52 This is true for tournaments that allow for vacation, but trust me on this one, I just lost a game in the finals that I was going to clearly win due to my Fischer clock continuing to count down when the time-out process was turned off. By the time I was able to move, my clock was in the negatives. 9. April 2009, 18:09:32 However, with clocks such as these and the Fischer clocks, they continue to run when the server goes down. Lots to choose from. 4 day, standard vacation. Maximum 5 player per section so no one has a whole lot of games starting at once. 30.
