anastasia: Like wekke said, they were rooks/knights at one time, and let there membership go.

They are still "in" the fellowship, BUT they can not read the boards and can not join the tournaments and can not join the teams. (So basicly they can do nothing.)

Some BIG BOSSes remove the pawns, while others keep them around since some may renew their membership and when they do, will already be in the fellowship.

just wondering..I took over a fellowship for someone and notice there are 2 or 3 pawns in the fellowship..I didn't think that pawns could be invited into one?

Subject: Taking somoene off a team
How does a captain take someone off a team??? Clicking "edit" by their name only let's you choose Player or Captain. When you click that "edit" link, it says captains can "throw people off the team" ... but I don't see anyway of doing it. It appears to me, the only way for it to happen is to either remove the person from the fellowship (which if the captain isnt the big boss, they can't do) or if they remove themselves.
If there isn't any other way, why does it say that captains have this abilitiy. Or am I just being blind?

It would be interesting if a player on a team could challenge the captain to a two-win match to win the rank of captain.

anastasia: You can see all the invites on your main page, and as big boss you can accept them as well as the captain. But only the captain can invite other fellowships to a tournament. (I think!)

Fencer: shouldn't the big boss be able to see all of this too? I COMPLETELY trust my captain to accept/reject invites BUT I would like to be able to see them myself,or give an invite if I want to.

harley: Red box means incoming challenges - the challenges sent to your team by another fellowship. In other words, challenges waiting for you to accept or reject.
And both big boss and captain of the team can accept/reject the challenge.

You create them yourself Radiant. On your main fellowship page where your teams are listed, under the list of team members (only if you are a captain, I think) you'll see a drop down box with fellowships which are able to be challenged. Presumably if they have enough team members. Then you select the fellowship you'd like to challenge and define your tournament.
The next bit is what I'm confused about! I seem to be able to accept challenges, even when that team has a captain who isn't me. So I'm not sure if the captain can accept them too.

I know I'm a bit behind but I have a couple of questions... why are some of the challenges in a red box? And can the captain accept/reject challenges and/or make their own? I see as big boss I can accept challenges, but can the captain too?

anastasia: This might be a question for Fencer in case he has changed something, but how it has worked in the past (and would guess it still works now)

Once the games have started, even if you leave the team/fellowship - the games will continue as they where started.

Again, Fencer might have changed this - but I'm pretty sure it will not mess anything up.

I am on a gammon team for a fellowship and we are playing another fellowship right now...question is this..do I have to wait till the tourney is over to leave the team..NOT the fellowship. It gives me the option to leave that team as my main team even though we are playing right now,but like I said,I don't want to screw the team OR mine or my oppnts. games. Thanks!!
