Well, it depends on the situation and position of your QUEENS, but if you play against someone who at least doesn't play this game for the first time, I would recommend a draw. IMHO, you need three queens to capture your opponent's one queen. 1v1, 1v2, 2v2, 2v3, 3v3 should be a draw.

There is a lot of websites about checkers (draughts), e.g. Jim Loy's page is a good start. I like Bob Newell's page very much. Books in English (about checkers) are also no problem, but I personally don't know any book/website in English about the Czech variant, there are AFAIK only some about the "pool checkers" (see Amazon). It's a pain to get some books even in Czech... :-)

Where can I find some book about checkers and its variants, for example the czech checkers?
...maybe a good link.

But Paulo is "on topic" as long as he is attacking Purple. When he also attacks stevie and Fencer..well that's beyond the pale.

I think you would have to wait and see if you lose before they get second queen. If they get second queen before beating you. Then i would say its a draw. so should be within the next 15 moves yes

12. November 2004, 18:30:22
Rasec
ok, but in 15 moves or 30 ...

12. November 2004, 18:26:45
Stevie
at the moment, you could make an error and lose the game, I dont know what wil happen in the next few moves

12. November 2004, 18:24:08

I think two queens vs one queen is a draw in 15 moves. what you think?

Two queens vs one queen?
is a draw?

12. November 2004, 15:48:02

ok, czech checkers!
two queens vs one queen is a draw?
Brave Eagles don't think so. see the game.

How can the pawns influence rating, for resigning the games, from a determined rating the winner does not obtain any rating points.
Bad Bishop: Is very naif who thinks thus.

3. November 2004, 00:40:35

Yes, it is especially bad for pawns stuck in tournaments in these situations. A membership is rather in-expensive, though! :-D

3. November 2004, 00:38:43
rod03801
as a rook, he has 30 vacation days per year. I don't know how many he has left at this point. Hopefully not many! lol.. i have a game or 2 with him too..

3. November 2004, 00:36:15
mclaudio
And there are a limit time or not in "auto-vacation"... If he don´t play anymore I can´t participated in no more tournaments. It´s not fair! In my opinion...

3. November 2004, 00:35:30
Stevie
Its bothering me also, that player has auto vacationed for a week now on games with me LOL

3. November 2004, 00:33:46
rod03801
Basically, Yes. He has selected "auto-vacation".. so that games will not time out, for as many vacation days as he has left..

3. November 2004, 00:32:07
mclaudio
Another point...see the game Id=426320. The last move from klokan was in 5 October...why the guy don´t lose? its because he is a paid membership ?

3. November 2004, 00:28:42
mclaudio
Ups...ok! I only see that resign game today...:-)
ok! its explained...now I can go to the bed tranquil because the brainking don´t steel points to portuguese checkers ... lol ...

3. November 2004, 00:24:15
Stevie
but you have only won 1 game today, the other was 31 october

3. November 2004, 00:24:10
rod03801
Hmmm... send Fencer a message. I'm sure he will look at it for you, and either fix it, or explain why it is correct.

3. November 2004, 00:21:36
mclaudio
Yes... I looked and the score was: yesterday: 1960... today a resign game +19 points, a winner gain: + 20 points.... and my actual score = 1979!
well I´m a university teacher and I still count. For me 1960 + 20 + 19 = 1999 and not 1979...

3. November 2004, 00:15:02
coan.net
mclaudio - What do you think the problem is? I'm looking at Graph for the past few days, and it looks normal to me.

Are you complaining that you this it is too low?

3. November 2004, 00:12:40
rod03801
Have you looked at the Messages in your message box, at the mathematics of the BKR changes of those games?

3. November 2004, 00:06:51
Stevie
excuse me, you asked a question, I was only answering. If you give a complete explanation then there willbe no confusion.
By the way....what does naif mean?

3. November 2004, 00:01:49
mclaudio
Hei! Yesterday I haved 1960! Don´t be naif with me! Fencer look to your Database and see what happened ! tks!

2. November 2004, 23:43:23
Stevie
looks to me like the 20 point win took you to 1960, then the 19 point win took you to 1979 :o)
