I did. Number 186. Can you also fix the game, or do I need to play on down a pawn?

Subject: En passant capture bug
I tried to make an en passant capture in http://brainking.com/game/ShowGame?g=502536&i=22. It sort of worked. My pawn went forward instead of diagonally, but my opponent still has his pawn.

So it would. Thanks for pointing that out.

I was reading the letters as if I was white. It's my A6 pawn that I want to move, not the H6. Sorry about that.

In this game, http://brainking.com/game/ShowGame?g=482245, my pawn on h6 can't move. All of my other pieces with legal moves are clickable links, but this one is just a non-clickable image. It might be related to the fact that I can capture into the a column with that pawn.

Subject: Draw by 3 repitions
A game is drawn if a position is repeated 3 times. Does "the position" include the pieces that are available for placement?

For example, the white king is on b2, and a black night is on a4 giving check. Do the following moves create a draw?

K-b1 N-c3+
K-a1 P@b2+ (placed pawn)
Kxb2 N-a4+
K-b1 N-c3+
K-a1 P@b2+ (placed pawn)
Kxb2 N-a4+
K-b1 N-c3+
K-a1 P@b2+ (placed pawn)
Kxb2 N-a4+
If the pieces available for placing are considered, no position has been repeated. But if they aren't, this is a draw by repetition

This isn't a perpetual check, since black will eventually run out of pieces to place at the b2 square.
