Subject: death of a great ballplayer
Ken Caminiti died yesterday at the age of 41 of heart failure. He was the 1996 National League Most Valueable Player and a 3 time All Star 3rd baseman. I had the priviledge of watching him play in Houston and at the height of his career was a true legend, who gave everything he had to the game, and led our team and many others to many victories. A tragic loss to the world of baseball. We'll miss you Kenny, hope you're finally at peace.

I totally agree hence my original post stated that the czechs were the better team in that game.
They totally outplayed Canada

Still dont understand why you said that Finland demoralized Sweden in the semi. Sweden lost big (1-6) to the Czech Republic in the quarter.

Naslund was not used much because he played weakly
They didnt use Daniel and Henrik Sedin in the team at all. I was hoping they would make it on as a good 3rd or 4th line

I was being sarcastic.
I was hoping the swedes would win because they had Nazzy and the twins but those players were hardly used? Got me beat why but maybe they just werent performing.

Long John...you been sleeping?

Finland won their semi final by 2-1 , not too demoralizing imo...and they won against USA. LOL

Subject: Congrats Canada
Took the czechs to OT and even though the czechs were the better team, Canada got lucky and Vincent Lecavalier scored the game winner 3:45 into OT.

Canada now meet the Fins in the final who totally demoralized the Swedes in the other semi final.

Dechy was so much more graceful and elegant compared to that goon Bovina. Tennis needs more Dechys.

I dont understand why that guy isn't already in a secure institute for criminal lunatics. It was great to see VdL smiling and doing his aeroplane wings on the last stretch despite arguably having been deprived of first place.

The Olympic games are somewhat exciting to watch but the judging part needs alot of work on. I'm wondering if they are going to have a "head" judge at each event to look over everything in the near future? Just curious
