Ok It isn't a full requirment to be on that long. We are looking for a co-mod to help moderate this board. I am on nearly every day from 8AM to 7 or 8 PM AST (The benefits of working from home and being your own boss is you can have BK open all day)
Anyone who is really in to computers and would like to help Co mod this board give us a shout.

I have a yahoo account that I keep cause its 10 years old. But I use Gmail for my pop mail. Its a new account so I don't get any spam and it works great. Gmail also has unlimited storage.

If you like, I can email you an invite to use gmail.

OK, now I'm completely stuck! I've just tried Virtual PC 2004, installing the ol' MSDOS 6.22 from my original floppies and the necessary CDROM drivers, as well as the mandatory SB16 line in AUTOEXEC.BAT... but the game just installs, happily playing the test guitar riff for sound setup and the intro video for video setup. When I run it, I get the black screen forever...

HEEELP!!! I am seriously considering rearranging my real hard disk partitions so that I have MSDOS bootable just for this game!!!

Does anyone here have a brother MFC-580, MFC-590, MFC 890, MFC-5100J or MFC5200J?

I'v got about 7 compatable ink cartridges that I can't use any more because my machine got a fatal fault

**edited to add: these are freebies, I'm not selling them. They're in my way and I'd sooner send them to someone who can use them.

BIG BAD WOLF:You can get alot as you mentioned, even HD movies new releases, previews and also burnable to disk i pods too through (quick time),it's amazing the first months free then there a charge of 24.99 a month but well worth it.I'm on ultra speed not sure if that makes a difference with compatibility though.

There's a new computer coming out shortly from microsoft which there calling MPC's hand held with a 7 inch screen and even a newer advanced verson of windows with a touch screen keyboard and everything a PC is capable of and more in most ways, should be on the market in a few months ranging from $600 to $1000 that would be in Canadian funds which would make it around $480 to $800 in US Dollars.

AOL has a new "TV Station" which you can watch on-line for free (High speed internet connection needed) - Looks like they have 14 "channels" which different shows on. Only quickly glanced at it, but felt I would share it with others.

http://television.aol.com/in2tv/lol_tv

The In2TV channel on AOL.com was announced in November and began yesterday with 30 series, including "Growing Pains" and "Eight is Enough." The network will also offer games, polls and other interactive features.

The shows are free to anyone with high-speed Internet access. The network is supported through advertising.

Eventually the company plans to offer more than 100 series and at least 300 episodes per month to lure broadband users to the AOL Web site.

The company says the shows will be available exclusively online and not in reruns on TV.

Subject: old ICQ account
Now that lost passwords were mentioned, I have been unable to reach ICQ for the last few YEARS regarding the password to my ICQ account. I had probably registered it from an academic address that stopped working and they are now unable to help me. I didn't want to get a new number, as the number I had was pretty nice and short, not like 9494859495 after its popularity shot up!

Any ideas? I mean, I have disowned them ages ago, but if there's a way to get back my account...?

I use http://www.seanic.net

$46.99 per year and your domain name is free.

Ive been with them for 5 yrs? and the price has always been the same.

I also use geocities for my personal site, the other one is my graphics site:)

If we are talking about hosting, I have used http://www.powweb.com for a few years, and LOVE it. They keep adding more space, more bandwidth, more of all kinds of stuff all at the same price. (current promotion is 6/14 months free if you buy a year/2 years)

Get 12 gig of space (WHICH IS TONS), and 300 GB bandwidth a month (10 gigs a day) (Which again is TONS) Cost $7.77 a month - but discounted if you buy a year or 2 years.

.... in case anyone was wondering. :-)

Andersp: I created a site at Geocities back before Yahoo owned them (1996). After a crash one time I lost my password to my geocities account. I can't get back in. i emailed them 4 times and never got a reply. SO my very first site I made in 1996 still sits, unedited and I cant access it. How frusterating. They are full of FAQ's but they will not reply to your email queries.

Im going to move all my stuff (pics, htmls) to a free account now. Not paying almost $ 200 / year for that crap

anastasia: That's all well and good - I even have a Yahoo! e-mail address. But when I tried to visit that simple address, that's what I got. I'm afraid that a service such as Yahoo! should work for 100% of the people and not for just 99%. Hence my theory of suction :)

(Off the record, I think it's because I have Greek as my set language for Yahoo! coupled by the fact that I let Yahoo! keep my userid active all the time, so that I only need to enter my password when I sign in - but don't tell anyone!!!)

The process is simple. Go to the folder where the pics are stored. Highlight the ones you want to resize, right click, and choose resize. The originals are kept intact and resized ones are made. ;)
