I guess I'm too spoiled and am used to the numerous other, professionally managed sites, where all these things happen automatically (or are done by people who care even if they are not paid), so I did not imagine I was supposed to beg for the new round to be started. My mistake.

I'm sorry but I hate being forced to do something. I'm glad to see everybody else is happy. Keep up the good work.

Subject: Another interesting glitch:
I resigned my one friendly game to get over it, I even got the "You resigned your game against..." message, yet it still shows up as a live game with my opponent's turn to move. Is that normal?

I did bring this up before, right here. He told me to wait for the next round. I think I've waited enough.

It's a known fact non-paying members are only allowed to play in one tournament. I was unfortunate enough (several months ago) to join the one that will obviously never end (round 2 was completed several weeks ago), it will just hang there forever between round 2 and 3, so I am leaving this sucky site. Congrats Tragedy on your win!

Cheers,

P.s. The tourney in question: "Join mine I joined yours" or something like that, abandoned for good,

Oh.. I didn't realize there were unfinished games, I thought when 2 players are marked with yellow that means those 2 will advance. Thanks for the info.

Subject: Never-ending tourneys because of one player
I understand we all have our real lives, but do we really have to bare with players (?) like this one in our tourney (7 day limit) who has not completed a single game while most of us are done with all our games? I just checked on the profile, this person has about 200 tourneys going, with 0 completed games! So a bunch of people have to wait MONTHS to finish one round, because of one person who loves to JOIN but doesn't PLAY? I'm majorly upset about this. Yes, I am allowed to play in ONE tourney only, for the moment. But even if I were a paying member, I would be agitated!
Oh, the ID is Backoff KM.
PLEASE, PLAY!!!! (and I do know all caps and exclamation marks are rude, but.. jeez, buddy, why sign up if you don't have time for this, for US??!)

Subject: P.S. / suggestion to webmaster
I joined "Crowded in California" in hopes of finding fast games with people in the same time zone. I was wrong. One player make ONE move per WEEK.
I suggest you make it possible for players (eager to play) to remove themselves from tournaments (burdened with players like this one). Thanks for your consideration!

Subject: an addition
This is what it says here:

"Tournaments to sign up
None.
-
Tournaments waiting to be started
None.
-
Running tournaments
None.
-
Finished tournaments
None."

What does this mean? ......

Subject: trying to get out
Hey, can someone tell me how to get of a tourney where I finished all my games, yet I am unable to join a new one. Do I really have to wait till everyone's done?? (i.e. close to forever) ?! I resigned 3 games just to be able to join another tourney, yet I'm stuck here it seems. Thanks!!
