redfrog: Set the starting time to yesterday, or anytime in the past. It will still take some time before it starts, though.

This is commented every time Bry posts his tournaments here. Time to just accept Bry's preferences?

Subject: The long tournament list
Looks like many of the tournaments, which annoyed so many before the tournament list was restructured, has become useless or overly optimistic after the BKR recalculation.
Not that I mind. Just an observation. :)

Good luck to the brave participants of the Insomnia backgammon tournament, with 1 hour time limit and no days off.

Signups are open for the 2nd Insomnia Backgammon.

grenv: It's meant for people like me who just wants to get a few games started with a long time limit. If you prefer shorter time limits, or want to see the result of a tournament as quickly as possible, then don't join. There are plenty of tournaments with time limits suiting your taste.

I feel with you... I hate that game... :)
I think I would have resigned them, but it's up to you.
