Fencer: I have a player on block as he is abusing & harassing me with foul language & insults in our game. Even though I have him on block I can still see his posts........is there any way I can hide what he is saying to me?
BIG BAD WOLF: Thats what I thought. Maybe it a feature request, but it seems to me it would be better to just not let the game times move for 24 hours instead of leting them go to zero and time out right after midnight in czech time. Just my 2 cents, as it wont effect me either way.
Czuch Chuckers: I believe for site holidays, the time out function is just turned off. So games still count down, and I believe go into negative time - and then once the site is off of it's site holiday, any game with below 0 will be timed out.
If I understand correctly, even games marked as "no days off" will also not time out during this time.
I guess I never noticed before, but hwen there is a site holiday, for example, shouldnt the times of games just stop going down, or even have 24 hours added to them, instead of just going down, possibly into negative time where they will time out soon after the holiday has finished?
It seems that if I make a move and then leave the site with a 1 day game, and the next day is a site holiday, and my opponent comes on and mover after I am gone, then I should be able to come back the day after the holiday and not have my game timed out. As it is now, I leave and my game times down to zero during the holiday and then times out soon after the holiday is over?
Do I understand this correcty? I am probably just confused on the facts of this one...
Why is my Favourite Boards list in alphabetical order with one glaring exception? "Flame Pit" does not come before "Debate Club" alphabetically, but it is in my favourite boards list that way.
Czuch Chuckers: Nope. In this instance it means sick in the head. But the result of his pathology is cheating behaviour, at least as far as I'm concerned.
Czuch Chuckers: So if you invited 20 people to an 11-hour match and 19 of them timed out, would you continue to issue that sort of invitation or would you be dissatisfied with that kind of "victory"?
We're talking about someone who is consistent is using this method. This is not a normal person but someone with a pathology of some sort. How can you say it's not cheating?
Czuch Chuckers: Are you saying you'd be happy to accept this guy's invitation and have him wait until you went to bed or work and then suck your points though a timeout?
Pythagoras: It surley isnt cheating, and should not upset anyone anymore than playing a 21 day game to the full 21 days every move is completely acceptable....
We could have associated to every players profile, some rankings given by other players in such attributes like kindness, sportmanship, quicknes, and so on...
playBunny: Gotcha. I didn't look at it all. I got caught by taking a game under 12 hours per move once an timed out on it, getting a loss. Im more careful on the games I take now.

Rose: No, it's unfortunate but there are many innocents caught by his scam... and many more yet to be caught. Have a look at his Battleboats, for instance. Far too many different names against the low number of moves matches.
emmett: Here is a thought. If he won so many on time outs would that indicate all the other ID's he won from are made up pawns he setup in order to win?
