And the No Child Left Behind system isn't exactly helping.. I find it interesting that while Jeb Bush said the schools under his jurisdiction were all 'A' rated, 78% failed under NCLB rules. I find also that the NEA is trying to stop and end contracts that prevent the best teachers working in poor schools and those who serve minorities. ..... spin has it's place, but like most spin it only tells part of the story. Eg the Conservative party blame Labour for policy 'X', yet back in the days of Maggie policy 'X' was made and introduced by the Conservative government.
