Dein and I battled it out and the superior pente player won (as I suspected I would ).

good games Dein! in all fairness Dein timed out in the second game but I still say I had him . We'll have to rematch that one at a later date to see how it'd play out Dein.

This tourney took almost 8 months to complete with a 16day per game fischers clock (even with no bonus days). That's too long! next time I'll set the time limits to 7 days per game between two players. I think that should ensure the end of a game at 14 days max. and likely the end of the round in 1 month (barring a third game in some instances) .

My thanks to everyone who signed up and played in this tournament it was my first single elmination, and I liked it so much I used the format in my St. Patrick's Day Tournament this year.

This was fun! -Brf

good luck dein :) funny how I'm on the top of the bracket and you're on the bottom and we've both just slid all the way across from that position. it looks cool :)

Brf - April update

The winners of round two (Brf, aaru, jozso, dein) have finally progressed into round three with the matchups being

aaru -vs- brf,
jozso -vs- dein

With just over 4 months into the tournament, my guess is it's going to be at least a couple of more before this tourney finishes. does anyone think the 16day game limit might've been a bit long? I'm thinking maybe a 8-10 day limit if I do this again.

Good luck to all players in ROUND 3!

I was hoping to get 32 players but I had to change it to 16 or I think this tourney would've gotten deleted due to lack of enough players. My thanks to all of you who signed up! -Brf
