So, I am guessing that someone with one of these black rooks can get to the top of some leader board, or whatever, then leave the site and stay on top indefinitely if they choose to, without ever playing another game, for example?

Argomento: Re:
mook53lhd: Thanks, I agree with you 100%, and was being sarcastic, but it doesnt always come out well in writing... I think the boards on brainking are often far over moderated, and we always hear the excuse that its because "its a family oriented site, and children read these boards" or something like that. I have been hiden before because of an errant swear word and told that I needed to be hiden "so as not to corrupt the whole site!" This from a global moderator, so it must be the policy. Anyway, I am glad that someone agrees with me that these boards are hardly likely to lead to the corruption of anyone on this site, no matter the content, and that parental monitoring is much more appropriate than over zealous moderation.

Argomento: Re:
baddessi: It wasnt meant as a bait towards you. I was only pointing out to Bry that both harley and yourself were monitoring the board, and it is your right as the moderators to run it the way you choose. If you do not think a subject is off topic then it is not his place to say anything, unless he thinks that you are not doing your job correctly by allowing the conversation to continue! So, he either overstepped his boundries as a global moderator or he thinks that you were not performing your duties well enough and had to step in to help you, its one or the other! But I can see that you have stepped in line, I am just curious why you waited for someone else to do it for you?

Argomento: Re:
Bry: How is talking about members being effected by filthy posts on a public discussion board off topic?

Arent you overstepping your boundries, since individual board moderators are allowed to run their boards how they please, and it looks to me like they are watching this board right now? Or is Baddessi in line for a spanking from the globs for not doing her job correctly?

Argomento: Re:
SafariGal: Well, there are plenty of mighty people here who disagree with you.... This is a family site, and protecting the youth and the most sensitive of our membership is one of the top priorities! However, I believe this is a lofty goal, and can only be obtained by completely eliminating all public boards. Otherwise, we end up with what happened recently, where inappropriate material was on these boards allowing for the corruption of our youth and sensitive adult members!

The issue is a global moderator who did public interviews and who was responsible for moderating all public boards and who was responsible for allowing others to moderate public boards was announced to be dead, yet there is anecdotal evidence that he is alive, and he cheated by using multi niks, and he continues to do so today.

Harley: I dont think it is never ending and I do think that there are real answers...

I dont understand who is being protected here and why? A handfull of multi niks? To keep other topics from being buried?

You want this swept under the rug, my advice is to allow it to run its course, it will make it disappear a lot faster than censorship will! Or maybe you dont want Pedro to remove the board from his favorites list????? That must be it! LMBO!

or Pedro and opthers who do not want to participate, I suggest you take gen chat off your list now, not that you will miss much as reading that board can be really aweful to endure most of the time anyway!
