Hi Fencer, nice to meet you. You seem to be the GameWizzard here. :D I like BackGammon, as well BackGammon Race. That is played on the same kind of board; so perhaps you could add that game is as well?

Thanks Reds :-) Good news is that the Backgammon implementation is done and the game will be added within several days. It took so much time because the model is far different from "normal" games [chess, reversi] but it is finished. At last!

I have only joined this site a short time ago, but I just wanted to say. this site ROCKS!!!...Out of all the sites I play at this one is by far the best....I have made some really good friends here already, everyone seems so nice.... :) Great job Fencer!!!!!!!!!...I look forward to the backgammon.... :)

I have to agree about the brightness but I am on a webtv and my screen is 32 inches so it's somewhat bigger to look at. But as Kevin said....or meant...that "anyone" can go to the settings page and change the background color. If it's that big of a problem then maybe he could make the main background color as gray and white as change instead of vice-versa. Maybe that would help to solve the problem.

I DID say I "personally" don't have the problem..

He did say (i think on this board) that if you go to your settings page, there is a darker colour scheme (with a grey background instead of white).

Fencer, I do not "personally" have a problem with the brightness.. some of the people I play (or HAVE played) apparently have some kind of eye problems where a bright screen tends to hurt in some way, like give headaches, burn, make them squint, go crosseyed, I don't know, but it IS bright and must be bright enough to keep people from coming on to play cuz I just got another win by defalt (and you know that's not right).. also some people may not be able to make screen ajustments, enough to compensate without character component distortion.. my latest loss online was "mogal", and I'm talking about a "friend" here, not the game.. Now just wondering, is there a lot involved to implement a choice of color or different shade backgrounds..? Sorry Fencer, I'm not trying to sound rude, just trying to explain the best I can.. Everyone knows you work very hard on this site.. :-))

About Player List - yes, you are right, I'll probably give it a higher priority at my TODO list ;-)

At least on my 800x600 resolution the 32 links to the 32 pages of players make the page too wide, so i have to scroll sideways to see it all. They should start going on the next line :-)

I always wondered how it decided on what order to display these in on my game sheet. Seems to be a different order every day! lol

I noticed that with the search box on the Player List it does not always come up with all the players that match what you type in. I'm not sure why though!

I asked a couple of friends to join brainking, i just caught up with them and they said they had. I asked them for there i.d's and tried to search for them in the search box on players list, but came up with nothing. So i went through the names & i found them - is this a problem you know about Fencer ???

Kevin, I read a post from you that said you play on five game sites. I know only 3 sites.
Brainking, Goldtoken, and Itsyourturn.

I like brainking alot because it is fast compared to the others. And GT would be better if they would let the peopl who don't pay to play the game variations. I am a member at GT for now.
What I wanted to know is what are the other sites you play at, because I hve been trying to find some more.

I have noticed that sometimes the "Friends On-line" shows "none" when there are friends on-line. I have checked to make sure that I have them listed as my on-line friends and sometimes they show up and sometimes they don't until I go to "Who is On-line". It usually shows up there but just not at the bottom of the page. Am I doing something wrong?

Been reading all the post and I want to say that I honestly don't like the user name. I have a daughter that plays on here and I'm sorry....but the name is a bit much. I do have one question though....you said your chess team left this site. Did they have problems quitting as well? I am fairly new to this site and I don't want to buy any membership at the moment because I am reading post like these and think it best to wait to see what all the site is about. Good and bad. There is no perfect site and no perfect person. And I'm sorry, but I would not open any mail with the name "F*** Y** T**" as the sender. I'm sure if everyone could calm down a bit, these issues could be resolved.

aww Kevin, your such a sweetie!!!! Its just that I have only so much time available to play. I am the vise pres of our chess team and have a commitment to play where the team plays. Its nothing personally against this site...my feelings are not always the same as the team...but the team decided as a whole to leave. I am left here when I didnt have time to be here in the first place....some of the people here are truely wonderful folk!! You are one of them!!!! And I too have thoroughly enjoyed playing you!!! Please do send me that invite at GT!!!!!!!!!!

Its funny, seems my wanting to leave brought out everyones aggression!!! lol. The world needs more kind and understanding people like yourself, then we would all be alot happier!!!! I play on there too, but you can have the best of both worlds! I've found the people on here just as nice as GT, and just as many nutters too!!
And I consider this to be the better site of the two, just for the variation of games and service fencer gives.

One last thought (I'm full of them tonight!), I've also encountered some 'not nice' people here, you get them on every site. Add them to your 'enemies' list, thats what its there for, and just play the nice people. They far out-number the horrible people!
