More important to me is the language difference from basik english to Czech(sp)
I have some lovely people I play with and when I say something like***if I dont get some great doubles I will resign as I dont think I can go any further***
I get back a message that lookes like this
nevim, co rikas, ale urcite mas pravdu :-)
hehehehe
only to be told by Fencer "i dont know what you said but you are right" heheheheheyh
being a woman that is a great answer...
OK
What i would like is Czech/english translantion on each and every page (game page that is)
So at least I dont have to be rude and I dont have to ask others for translation..
Is it possible??
Fencer?
AWESOME Fencer!!!!
The only thing that could make it better, is like Cole said, if there could be a dot after the opponent's name in the drop down box (Move to..) also.
how about adding those green dots to the waiting games page?
And to the rankings pages (instead of that "online status" column with a pawn)?
And to the left of the player on the game page?
And... well, I guess you know what I mean :)
Getting back, briefly, to the "gloves or dloves", today I said to my wife "drosophila" and she replied "grosophila?". That's made my week, (within the obvious limits).
i don't know if i've said this on here or not, but i'd like an option to display my online opponents at the side of the board just like my online friends, so i didn't have to click the "online opponents" link but could just see at a glance which of my opponents are online.
That's happened to me once - except I was on the other side. I made my first move, and it immediately said my opponent timed out. It was also in battleboats...
How about if posts are randomly redistributed across the liguistically divided boards? In that way we have to learn each other's language. According to the Guiness book the most "difficult" sound in any language is in czech, it's some kind of liquid gutteral from the throat (probably a nasal fricative to boot), a friend once demonstrated it to me, I replied "do you like gloves or dloves?".
