Subject: When is the game time outs going to be fixed?
Modified by ScarletRose (28. November 2004, 06:32:41)
I have two games from a tourney with Long John. They have gone into time outs at least 3 times since LAST weekend. And they all get restarted or refreshed time. This also happened with another player, Universal Eyes, as well as two games from another player which I can't think of the players id at the moment. However, those last three games were able to be saved by my opponents. And for what reason? For me to have to sit and wait endless days just to make a garsh darn move! Please fix the bug in the Time Out thingy. Cause I would certainly not wish to endure another refreshed timeset for the saved games again..
the games for Long John are numbers 522067 and 522068. Didn't know if you needed them. :)
Go to Fellowships page.. the link to the left.. scroll all the way down.. and under the window of the listed fellowships.. is a link to create a new fellowship.. Click it! :)
Fencer - assuming they dont use any "memory" probably not. Justwondered really as there are loads that have logged on once, joined, not played any games then never come back again. Doesnt give a true "registered users" figure. What do you think?
It would be hard to delete them since all past games are visable, and if the player had ever played any games - then it (in my opinion) is easier to just keep the account there instead of writing a script which will keep the games, the ratings, etc... but remove the user.
I want to apologize to the many BrainKing members who frequent the various boards. In an attempt to settle things down...I will no longer respond to my provokers.
Lets play games, have fun,and enjoy each others company!
Again, please accept my apology for all the disruptions.
BerniceC: Yeah. LOL you're right. Its my permanent face look :-), troubled or attacked constantly. But under this mask i have another face. I use this mask to prevent from "things" which can make me second face troubled or attacked constantly too. :-))
When someone is in trouble here it us generally their own doing; for which they will the appropriate consequences as deemed by big bosses, moderators, or the site developers.
I do think that generalizations of the enforcement of the site's guidelines is within topic with regard to the future of this site.
I do not feel that arguements and/or discussions about a person that has been in trouble and is now paying their dues belongs on this board.
Fencer's decision is just that....Fencer's decision.
When someone is in trouble there are always people who fancy themselves a Roman Emperor to give thumbs up or thumbs down. Maybe it inflates their own self-importance. This seems like a Brainking related topic Flooz..enforcement of site guidelines. If you think it isn't then I will drop it.
(hide) If you want to play a game with an opponent of a similar level, you can define a required BKR range for a new game invitation. Then nobody with a BKR outside this range will be able to see/accept it. (Katechka) (show all tips)
