Has anyone been to see Juno yet? I thought it was fantastic. It did seem a bit forced at times, but if you suspend your disbelief about anyone being that quick witted and just enjoy it, it's very entertaining. It was something different and something I will actually remember.

TexasToest: It was an early 90's pilot, according to the description. Obviously a spoof of detective shows from earlier, though.
It was pretty good.. I enjoyed it.. I wasn't planning on watching the whole thing, but I did.

There is a quote from a movie that I've been trying to place for quite some time now. In the scene, one guy has his arm over another guy's shoulder. Actually, he's more got his hand around the back of the other guy's neck. Something happens and the first guy exclaims, "I was RIGHT!" When he does this, slams the other guy into a pillar or wall or something and he slowly slinks down. Does anyone recall the movie that this is from?

Jim Dandy:  I never saw that movie.  A friend of mine saw it, and it changed him....a lot.  Maybe I SHOULD rent it and watch it.  Maybe with a friend.  The reasons given for the suggestion I not see it was the highly emotional content.  I see from that clip what they meant.

On the Music Board tonight, we are having an impromptu theme night
which will be favorite TV and Movie theme songs.  Some of us are taking
liberties with the theme song idea, pulling music from other parts of
movies and sharing those.  It promises to be a lot of fun, and would be
more fun if you would join us.

AOL News reported an hour ago that Simpson still hasn't been booked.  They are tracking down the details.

So, who knows?
