There are only 11 holiday days a year.

Sujet: longer limits...!
that's interesting...if we included every country's public holiday, i doubt there would be 50 playable games a year? I havae noticed I have 11 days to move in some 7 day tourneys, so I guess that's double weekends being factored in? I don't mind having long limits, but I like to play against people who are passionate not only about the game, but moving quickly too...

Not sure how that works - since the Backgammon and Nackgammon cover 2 different games. And I Battleboat board covers all 3 versions. :-)

And Reversi 10x10, Nackgammon, and Halma 10x10 are the ratings shown on the boards which include them along with other variants.

Check the profile of someone who posted on that board to see which of their ratings is shown. It's Dark on the Battleboats board and Crazy on the Screen and Crazy Screen Chess board.

You mean on the game board discussions. ie Reversi discussion board.

I just noticed it too. But how do we know which rating is being shown on the boards with multiple variants?

Sujet: Time outs..
If both players have different weekend days set, does that add 4 days a week to the game time limits?

It seems this is the case, as I have a game with a 21 day limit, that has 33 days left. That would be 3 weeks plus 2 days a week for their weekends, and 2 days a week for my weekends, which is 12 extra days, making 33 days correct.

But if this is the case...Does it make any sense for my opponent to have my weekends added to their time limit? It doesnt seem right to me, does anyone have any idea what I am trying to say? :)

I'm playing in a 5 day/move tournament, at present all my opponents have at least 9 days despite the player with the least time having not moved for two days. Does it pass on to the next weekend or something? I never got the point of these weekends and for sure they should be limited to one weekend per move.

is it your game with Basic01? if it is i've looked at that game and don't see any vacation days set... hmmmm... so i don't know why your three day limit has expanded to nine days... sorry i'm not much help ...
