this was a fun tournament and though I was hoping to have it wrapped up prior to St. Pats we were pretty close. Everyone was able to sign up for St Pats that wanted too and yes as per more than a few msgs I received towards the end here, I will be making some adjustments prior to next KOTH.

Well played everyone! (dein that was close! )

next KOTH October 1, 2015!

9th Annual St Pats Pente Tourney starts in 8 more days! Unless this KOTH tournament finishes before then any pawns\Bishops\Knights looking to sign up in the next tournament are likely going to be blocked.

the specifics on this rule are...
A player can join 1 tournament of each game type and until the particular tournament is finished, he cannot sign up for another one of the same game type.

so anyone playing, pawn, bishop, or brain knight in this tournament will probably be blocked from starting in the St. Pats Tournament until this tournament is over.

I know no one has to facilitate a speedy finish but I'd ask that we try and finish this tournament up in the next 7 days or so (if at all possible). It sucks to be done with all your games and signed up in another tournament and then get kicked out at start time since you're "technically in two tournaments of the same game type".

I'll commit to finishing my games as speedily as is possible, and would ask that the remaining players try and do the same.

P.S.If you're not signed up in the St. Pats, you should be :)

Had fencer start the tournament since about 6 people bowed out on this one and we weren't getting the 14 needed to start.

this means only 18 games each though so it should be a bit more manageable than in years past.

Have fun!
