Vikings - however, for me, it takes the fun out of winning . yeaa and why , because you got a chance to do it . If we remove that chance . it will be fun again .

I don't think that is unfair, it is not outside the rules, however, for me, it takes the fun out of winning.

Maxxina: said "stupid" not a fool... LOL! J/K! Plus, we all know now tha winning a pond isnt the goal so much as getting a high BKR, at least for many of us. I personally havent won even one pond since the ratings came out, and although have had a higher BKR before, It was a lot lower when I went for wins over playing it safe.

Czuch Chuckers: I don't do it routinely either. Almost never check ALL the profiles (this prize pond that is running right now is an exception), just some that I have seen in the past missing a move..., i.e. dexter, skittles, ryan, etc.

Pedro - that shoud stay - only what i would like to see - The day when you was last on should stay visible , but no exact time . That time should be cloacked

Everybody, I repeat and underline, EVERYBODY, who comes to this site to play pond games, have the possibility to check other players' profiles. There is no way playing like this could be considered unfair.

Pedro Martínez: LOL... of course I have done that before. I just dont have the patients to do it routinely, and I do understand that it is stupid to purposly not do it, since someone else will alweays do it and the point is to be competative. Thats why I like the dark games, because nobody can play this way and the actual intent of the ponds and the way they are played are in effect.

There are many player , who visit a site for couple of minutes to makes there move and dont watch everybody time clock when they was on last time . Its like big brother .

What would be nice , add a little feature , these players which are playing regular or rain ponds should have time when they was last on cloaked .

This watching to profile of player is imho unfair. I play betting game , not beeing a big brother

Wait until the last hours before making a move. Then check all other players to see if they have been online to play. Especially check anyone who has a star nex to their name from the previous move. If you cannot find someone who is on an auto move, then play very conservatively, and repeat on the next round. Soon enough someone will will play an auto move that is very low and you can play safe a very low bid that will put you in the lead. When the game gets near the end, all you have to do is bid one more than the lowest player, and voila', plenty of top finishes and a very high BKR.... no thinking required!

BerniceC: Yea, it looks like the pond was still a 50/50 chance for either player.

If Tony bet 1 more then pedro, then he took the chance that pedro would have just bet the min. amount of 99 and would have won that way.

With it still close like that at the end - it was still a good chance for either of them to win.

As far as that game it's like the one we had last week, a 50-50 chance if there is a 500-1000 point spread between 1st and 3rd and less than a 500 point spread between 1st and 2nd

I was in a pond and saw tonyh was winning. I said Congrats! and see that Pedro won it. Tony what happened? Here is the Link..

BIG BAD WOLF: I have 3 other kids, one who is two years old, we are trying to keep life as normal (ha ha) as possible for them, yesterday I spent 14 hours there and today 13 hours. the hard part will be when my wife is released tomarrow and the baby will have to stay there until saturday. We will have to take shifts there, but my wife will be there more since I'm not equiped to feed him. This is the main reason that I quit playing 1 day ponds and have saved all my vacation days for my other games, sorry Pedro, no auto plays here, I know you will check my log-ins.

Next time get a laptop which can get on-line from the hospital - that way you can be on-line longer since you don't have to spend time driving and such!

Just looked at my most recent Dark Pond - First bid to fall was 39, with a couple of 43's right behind that. Yea, 50's would be my bet - maybe even the high 50's now that I think about it more - would rather play safe - and 10-20-30 points extra you bid now will make almost no difference in the game at a later point.

so .... to start something ... everyone should bet 100 as opening bet in the next couple of ponds :)

come on ... you will just lose about 50 points .. which isnt that much compared to the end rounds .. and you might get the bonus if noone goes along ...

lets all bet 100!!! ;)
