Summertop: true .. moves take a few seconds (as you can see those moves were all backgammon moves while i left the other games lying around) .. while answering a question takes more time .. i am on and off all the time in between compiling and testing at work

I think it would be a good idea to ask potential "subjects" to commit to a time frame. Obviously, nothing would happen if they go over, but, it would help speed things up a bit.

Something to go "Hmmm" about...at the same time Hrqls said he was too busy, he made 188 moves today.

pauloaguia: I wasn't aware that you have placed the Hrqls interview to the side as not to kill the momentum of the posting of interviews.

Hey,you'd be surprised how many are waiting for Hrqls interview, everyday I have at least 5 private messeges, here's a sampling:

"Hi,just wondered if I'll miss the posting of Hrqls interview if I run to the store"

and this

"I tossed and turned all night wondering when Hrqls interview will be released"

and this

"The wife and I are planning a vacation for Febuary to a small Island with no internet capability, but if you have any inside info that the Hrqls interview will be released at that time,we'll cancel in a minute"

Why inisist on it? Tenuki's interview is already on the way, you can still add some questions if you wish

I'm sure Hrqls is a great guy,but this has kinda turned the interview feature into a farce. It might be an idea to let tenuki jump ahead of the line and allow Hrqls to submit his interview responses when ready.

Ok, after a few interviews with English and American members time has come again to go and find out more about the rest of the world.

This time you'll have the chance to learn something about a latin member.
Someone that happens to be one of the top players here at BrainKing.
A member that keeps a relatively low profile and many of you might not know nothing about.
A guy who... oh, what the heck, it's tenuki !!!

Go ask questions, now

Very well, I'll start arrangements for the next one. As soon as I get an answer from the candidate for next interview I'll post the details here, as usual...

AbigailII: I don't aggree on deleting interviews. Not only I can't do that, but I think it's not fair for all that have asked questions as well. Even if it takes a year, some people might still be interested in the answers...

Subject: Re:
ScarletRose: Agreed. Therefore I think one shouldn't wait for a person to have answered his/her questions before fielding questions for the next. Why not nominate a candidate four or six times a year (so, once every three or two months), collect questions for a month, and then let the candidate answer them; if it takes the candidate half a year to answer, it wouldn't impact another interview. (And, IMO, if a candidate hasn't answered even a single question a month after all the questions have been collected, just remove the entire interview).

it is several months past due.. I say one a month.. I am a very busy person myself..  but, I wouldn't need to take any real length of time answering them.. geez

Subject: New interview
There is a new subject for the interviews.
Since it's a beautiful Spring day around here, I've decided to extend the question period until the end of Spring (in the northern hemisphere).
According to the cientists, Spring ends and Summer starts at the so called Summer solstice. Solstices occur twice a year - around 21st June and around 21st December and they are defined as the moment where the Earth's axis is oriented towards or away from the Sun.
Those days coincide with the longest day at the hemisphere where the Summer starts and the longest night at the other.
Since it's an astronomical based reference, it happens at the same time accros the world, no matter what time zone you're in (hint to srnity )

In 2008 the June's solstice (Summer solstice in northern hemisphere, Winter solstice in the South) will be in June 20th, at around 23:59 UTC. So, that's how long you'll have to ask yor questions. It should be plenty of time to come up with everything you always wanted to ask our subject.

So, put your thinking caps and come up with some good questions

Oh, and before I forget, the new interviewee is Hrqls, the main moderator at BrainKing.com board... Do your best!
