I thought Silkwood meant it was a virus on our PC's that was preventing us from entering some sites. Not that you had a virus here Fencer! :o)

9. January 2003, 19:39:40
Fencer
No! Our server cannot be attacked by a virus, it doesn't run under Windows :-) There was some general hardware problem with the connection abroad.

9. January 2003, 19:36:58

Are you saying its a virus causing the sites to be down? For so many of us?

9. January 2003, 19:36:31
Fencer
Tony: Monthly, for the beginning.
About site down yesterday - there was a non-planned malfunction of our server-housing provider and we did not know about that because it happened during night [of our time zone]. I apologize for that.

This new virus , you do not have to open the attachment to get it, just viewing the email will activate it. Make sure your Anti-virus program is up-to-date. For more info. go to:

Yes, I had the same problem, I thought I'd messed the PC up with messing about trying to change the font size!! Which, by the way FENCER.. I hold you completely responsible. If the site wasn't so addictive I wouldn't be falling asleep at the keyboard and messing the font size up in the first place!! LMAO!! It took me ages to remember there were other sites on the internet I could try just to be sure it wasn't the PC at fault!!

Fencer.....thanks for clearing things up for me. I think it was great that you gave non-members a taste of what their missing. I wasn't sure if I would like having more than 20 but I really am enjoying it. :) I think it gives non-members who are playing their limit of 20 a chance to see if they are even going to like playing more games. Oh yeah.....and you have really been working hard and doing a great job fixing the problems here. It shouldn't be long and maybe you can have a rest. LOL

Subject: Re: Tournaments for non-members....
Mom: Yes, it is a drawback of non-paying members. And tournament games don't override normal games, this is just a special situation for this first tournament only. Shortly, everybody could join a tournament although lots of players didn't have enough empty slots. But there will be some restriction check on next tournaments. I have to think it over.

Ok....another quick question....I just had another tournament game pop up today. LOL I had a game that was finished and then this one popped up. Will the tournament games override all the other games after we are finished with them or are there just so many tournament games that we can play at one time? I'm not complaining....just confused. LOL

Subject: Tournaments for non-members....
Fencer....just wondering exactly how the tournament games work for us non-members. I did notice that when I finished a game with someone that I couldn't start a new Non-tournament game. LOL I was afraid there was a mistake or something when the tourny games started. I played as quickly as I could with whoever was on line at that moment afraid that I would get in the middle of a good game only to find out it was a gliche. ROFLOL I've never been in a tournament game before but I absolutely LOVE the games and the people...win or lose! Do we have to wait to start normal games with others until our numbers are below 20? Thanks in advance. ;)

Thanks to you both, I'm on AOL and I seem to have slightly different toolbars to you, I dont have a view, and the 'font' on my internet options shows nothing about size, just style. I'll try a re-boot (again!) and see if it helps. Thanks!

Hi there - is this keyboard problem of yours already solved? Have you tried to reboot? It must be something in the configuration of the pc. I had that big time problem once at work. I cannot remember how they called it - oh, wait, think they called it: "safemode". Sounds familiar to anyone?? Anyway, I remember I had to reboot and let the computer fix the files (like you do, when your pc has crashed) When it´s finished, you have to reboot again and hopefully it will start up with the normal lettertype. This is all I know.

If this doesn´t help, perhaps Rigattoni Rose knows a better solution? :o))

GoodLuck!

That looked like jut what I needed but its not working!! CTRL & C - then left shift, CTRL and INSERT... my middle light doesn't come on like it says then CTRL and F11 does nothing!! :o(
I tell you what though, this would be great for short sighted people, if I ever figure out what I did!

YOU probably answered this question before.. If i am playing 48 games regular and tourney ( I am allowed 50 games in my membership) and I get to round 2 of say half the tournies I joined.. am I allowed to enter round 2 even if I havent enough space in my membership and it would take me to say 60 or more games?
