Hi all, The tournament includes a mix of variants that require only skill and those with different forces or random elements. I have a tournament the still needs seven more players to make sixteen. It has a time limit of three days and only has weekends off.
36 hour move limits with no days off. Perfect tournaments for those who like to move the games along like me. Please sign up for as many as you would like to play. thanks.
Please Charity, more tournaments no. We already have Abigailll creating 50 tournaments for second. Too many tournaments are creating confusion when players want to sign up. You did the same in the past and, maybe, for that reason, Fencer don't allow you create more.
Abigailll, i hope you undertand my post is for you, too. Stop to create more tournaments.

Resher: No, zetes is not the problem. Harassed (a.k.a. WakeUpPeople) simply decided not to move in that tournament, very shortly after it had started. The prize from the tourney even had to be moved to another one because of him and his mental anomaly.
Subject: Re: I guess this tourney will never be finished?
Pedro Martínez: I think it's zetes that's the problem - last move in any game was back in February, so it looks like they've left the site. So the others players might have decided there's no point continuing (wouldn't be my logic though).
Subject: Re: I guess this tourney will never be finished?
Stingette: yes i don't think tournaments should be allowed to have no time limits it's stupid especially when you get idiots which are ruining it for everyone else
We are so excited to have such a great Dice Chess Team Good luck my friends
We would like to start a few other game teams so please feel free to join any games that may interest you. As we receive enough members for a team, each team will be entered in challenges.
Clandestine 1: Apparently I joined two (unfinished) tournaments (when I had Brain Rook status), and they both started more than three years ago. I think I made the last move in the Goodfoods one about three months ago. Ok, I know the rules. I am happy to buy a Brain Rook membership again when there is a sensible autopass system introduced for backgammon. If that had been the case for these stalled tournaments, maybe they would have finished already. Never mind, I can find other backgammon sites, It's just a shame that tournaments can run for five years withn no apparent progress. I can't think who actually enjoys them.
pgt: Actually the tournament in question is approaching its 5 yr anniversary due to handful of players who like to play at a snail's pace. After 5 yrs of play, we're still in the first round! - check it out LUCKY THIRTEEN Wait until the second round, most of the games will be won by default due to the amount of players that advanced by winning their round and now they do not play here anymore. The tournament started out exciting, but lost its mojo around 2006 sometime.
pgt: I think you will have to wait for the next round to start since you are going to win your section. then you can resign your games and ask fencer to release you
I signed up for a tournament in February 2006 (when I was a Brain Rook) and it is still running - though my section finished about two years ago - I have not made a move in this tournament for two years!
Is there some way to default and remove myself from this tournament so I can sign up for some monthly fast-paced tournaments? (I am getting older, and at the pace this tournament is running, I'm quite likely not to be alive when it ends.)
coan.net: That is the reason i posted it here, to try and get more people involved. In fact i may have a think about posting Team Tournaments (maybe the next 1 or 2) in the section above. That can't hurt and may help.
Hopefully Fencer will build in BK 3.0 the possibility of a Fellowship entering more than one Team in future, that would create some great fun and rivalry even within a Fellowship
MadMonkey: I wasn't trying to presume anything - you had asked where all the players were, and since that game is not a very popular game - I was just pointing out where 6 more players are at.
Hopefully there will be enough teams (4) to start the team tournament - always hate to see when not enough teams sign up for a team tournament.
coan.net: You are presuming these players wish to play for another Fellowship of course ??
I for one do not, but i have always said that those who do not get in a Team are free to play for anyone they wish, it is there choice. In fact 2 of the players left the Turkish Fellowship Team to play in the Madhouse one.
The Fellowships you mention have ample players in them to form Teams.
It seems crazy we need 6 players to play in a Turkish Checkers Tournament, yet only 5 to play in the Plakoto one
