This show is like the rock version of The Wall tour, they are basically building a city within the stadium

Nirvana: This post may seem like one of the coldest cruelest things I have ever written. And I ask God's forgiveness for it. But I am going to stick to my own truth and feel the need to write about it.While I am sorry for Ike Turner's friends and family in his passing, I am not sorry to hear he's gone. He was, in my humble opinion, a malignant narcissist. Talented, brilliant but evil, selfish and cruel.

TexasToest:I was never that big into Zep as a kid,it was like being a fan of The Cowboys or The Yankees, too establishment. As I got older, and they were no longer shoved down my throat(I don't listen to rock radio anymore, just talk and sports)I became more appreciative of their talant and music.
You can't really judge them fairly based on a few bootleg crowd recordings, when I took that into account,I thought they sounded suprisingly good.I've seen many a bootleg crowd film of tours I've attended, they aren't always a good indication of the quality,no bottom end in most cases also.

One of my fave 80's albums, you may notice a very distinct Ultravox (John Foxx era) influence.

Ultravox circa 1978 with John Foxx, before Midge Ure rendered them impotent
