SMART ALX: They don't. Sunflowers are annuals. If you want to have them in your front yard again next year, you have to plant some seeds.

It's supposedly spring time here but we're getting snow, it's unheard of this late in the year. Had 1 meter dumped on the road between Taupo & Napier. Temperature today was 8 derees C. Going to get down to 3 to-night

Well summer hasn't even started and already we are experiencing excessive heat. Expected today 36degC = approx 100degF. Looks as tho we are in for a bad one :(

12-14 months ago I planted in my garden 3-4 pineapple tops....Lo and behold I have a pineapple growing...it is about the size of my thumb nail at the moment but what a find. That can go with the passionfruit, pawpaws, bananas,grapes etc....My own homegrown fruit salad LOL

Bernice: I just checked.. they are still around. And they are free. I used them a long time ago. Pretty much the same as geocities, as i recall. They have templates you can use, so you don't even need to be an HTML expert.

Bernice: As far as I know, Hosta is the name of a plant, also known as plantain lily. So a Hosta garden would be a garden comprising or including plants of this kind.
